Bank Statement PDF Converter (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle, how we handle it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect & Why

We do not collect: original PDFs, personal profile data, advertising identifiers, precise location data, or analytics on transaction contents.
2. How We Process Your Documents
- On-device OCR – The PDF never leaves your Mac; OCR is performed locally.
- Secure text upload – Only the raw OCR text (no images, no full PDF) is sent to our cloud via HTTPS/TLS 1.2+.
- Isolated formatting – Text is parsed and converted inside short-lived, containerised workers.
- Immediate deletion – Both the uploaded OCR text and intermediate data are automatically deleted as soon as processing finishes.
- Local results – The formatted output file and any cache stay only on your Mac.
3. Subscriptions, Payments & Quotas
- Purchases and renewals are handled by Apple’s App Store; we never see your billing details.
- We store an anonymous subscription token plus your page-usage counters to:
- unlock the correct plan (Free, Personal, Pro, Business, Scale)
- reset your weekly allowance every Monday (Smart Quota Protection)

5. Security Measures
- End-to-end encryption for all transmitted OCR text
- At-rest encryption on all cloud storage volumes
- Short-lived signed URLs for any uploads
- Principle-of-least-privilege access controls
- Regular security reviews and dependency patching
6. Data Retention

7. Your Choices & Rights
- Disable diagnostics: Turn off “Share with App Developers” in system settings.
- Delete local cache: Preferences → Advanced → Clear Cache in the app.
- End subscription: Cancel via the App Store.
- Ask questions or request deletion: Email us (see below).
Because original PDFs never leave your device and we delete OCR text immediately, most GDPR/CCPA rights involve minimal or no data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as features or laws change. We’ll show the updated version in-app and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the changes.
